A love letter

We have to tell the ones we love that we love them not for what they are, but for what we become when we are in their presence.

We should tell the ones we love that they are loved not only for what they made of themselves, but we love them for what they make of us too.

We must tell our loved ones that we love them because they bring out the best in us. We should tell our loved ones that we love them for putting their hands over our hearts and passing over all the foolish, weak things we do, and for drawing out into the light all the beautiful things that no one else had looked far enough to find them.

We should tell our loved ones that we love them because they help us make a temple from our lives, not a tavern. We must thank the ones we love for making us good and keeping us happy.

Tell your loved ones that they are loved for being themselves.

Love,

Carmen Monica

For so long I forgot how it is to wake up in the morning and see the world’s beauty. For so long I just passed through each day following the same routine, forgetting that life is more that trying to please everyone. But the sea had restored my wish to receive each day as a precious gift. The sea is the best doctor in the world. It proves that everything comes and goes and it is okay. It’s never too late to start over.

Self-confidence

The essence of self-confidence is an optimistic attitude along with learning from our mistakes and recognizing that we can use everything that life throws at us as a lesson if we’re willing to be taught. Self-confidence is like a special elixir to help us face the challenges of life. It includes an aromatic blend of essences like attitude, experience, knowledge, wisdom, optimism, and faith. Self-confidence is available to everyone.

Most of us confuse self-esteem with self-confidence. Self-esteem consists of our feelings about ourselves, about how we love, accept and approve ourselves. How beautiful it will be to just waltz into a beauty salon and buy a bottle of self-confidence!

When you are not sure of yourself, but life asks you to be otherwise, it’s comforting to remember that you can borrow self-confidence from your authenticity. When we act as if we’re self-confident, we become so. If life challenges you, you must show confidence or acquire self-confidence from your authentic self.

Love,

Carmen Monica

Don’t give up!
